As an artist, I seek to reflect the complex journey of motherhood, shaped by the intersecting forces of a chauvinist society, religious myths, and deeply ingrained social and gender expectations. Becoming a mother was a significant shift for me, one that brought with it a deeper understanding of the unspoken struggles, underlying emotional and hormonal upheavals, and the struggle to fit into a new identity.

My work narrates the interconnectedness of tension between love and exhaustion, and an identity crisis after becoming a mother. Also, the visual changes of the body vs beauty myths, sleep deprivation, while taking care of the child. The complexity of relationships questioning socio–religious norms, and struggles with patriarchy in terms of motherhood. My stitching style is a profoundly personal documentation of my journey through the physical and mental transformations of motherhood. The fragile, stuffed, deformed, and silhouette cut figures in my works symbolize my memories of childbirth. The repetitive stitches reflect the repetitive daily responsibilities, labor that goes unrewarded or unvalidated, and undervalued. Especially when knitting or weaving, which was historically associated with women
