Study Away/Abroad curricula in the new Miami Plan (MP) may require re-evaluation and modification to ensure opportunities for students to meet global challenges and facilitate intercultural consciousness. This workshop supports instructors who aim to develop or continue courses through Global Initiatives (GI). Participants will (1) identify the components and policies related to MP/GI integration; (2) gain tools to meet Miami Plan outcomes; and (3) be given a timeline for faculty development and resources to support meeting all MP/GI requirements. Be sure to bring your laptop computer.
