Diversity & Inclusion Conference: Across the Divide
Explore key aspects of diversity and inclusion at "Across the Divide", the first annual Diversity and Inclusion Conference at Miami. Students, faculty & staff, and community members are welcome.

8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Beginning with an Equal Justice Initiative and a Miami University Truth and Reconciliation Project presentation and ceremony, the day will include breakout sessions that explore Green and Safe Zones, Disability Awareness, First Amendment and Free Speech issues and concerns, along with sessions on communicating across difference, and reporting and understanding how incidents are investigated and resolved.
All sessions will be in Shriver and will include lunch. Following registration and a continental breakfast at 8:00 the conference keynote and opening ceremony will begin at 8:45 in the Heritage Room. Breakout sessions in the John Dolibois Rooms will begin at 9:15. The conference will close after final remarks and a diversity and inclusion overview and summary that will begin at 3:00pm
There is no cost to attend or register for the conference, and credit for job enrichment is available.
