About this Event
Presenter: John Reynolds, Architecture & Interior Design.
Good teaching empowers students and their instructors as co-learners. Together, they construct a narrative merging the theories and practices of the discipline with their personal histories to act as enlightened global citizens. This seminar will explore engaged teaching and situational learning around five key teaching practices: active, experiential learning and critical thinking; inquiry, experimentation, and discovery; diverse voices and perspectives; risk-taking; and community building. While originating in my architectural instruction, the conversation will engage cross-disciplinary prospects and practices of the participants. This seminar is Zoom only and the Zoom link will be sent after the registration form is completed.
