Many of Ohio’s most cherished summer birds– from warblers to thrushes to hummingbirds– are birds we share with Latin America.  Helping migratory bird populations flourish depends on conservation efforts across their flyway, from Canada to South America, and points in between.

Join us for the 52nd Hefner Lecture featuring Mike Parr, President of the American Bird Conservancy, for a talk on Latin American birds, and their connections to the nature we see in our backyard.

This free, all-ages lecture will be followed by a reception at the Hefner Museum of Natural History.  We hope to see you there!
